Edinburgh Leisure has clarified the changes that have been made to their Pitch Playability Updates.

They have discontinued the email subscription service and in future, the status of their grass pitches will be advised as follows:-

All pitches will continue to be inspected on Friday mornings, however, only changes to the playability of pitches will be included in any updates announced on their website at https://www.edinburghleisure.co.uk/sports-pitches-weekly-update

So, for example, if the Gyle listing on their website shows it as playable on 26/10/18 it will continue to be playable until such time as their website is updated to change its status to unplayable.

In future our app button for Edinburgh Leisure pitch updates will simply direct you to their website and push notifications/alerts from the app will be discontinued.

Hopefully, by mid-afternoon each Friday, Edinburgh Leisure will have updated their website with all changes however, it’s up to everyone to check this themselves.
